ATT also delivers projects and activities that run every single year. To find out more about these, and how you might be able to get involved, click on 'Annual Programme'

How can I buy tickets for ATT productions?

You can buy tickets for ATT productions and events by calling 0151 357 2120 or by emailing boxoffice@actiontransporttheatre.org. You can also turn up on the day, but we may not always be able to guarantee you a seat/place.

How do I join up to ATT projects or regular schemes?

Many of our projects involve participation - be it from members of the public, young people or writers. Take a look at the opportunities listed on our website for more information and if you have any questions, or would like to sign up then contact Jessica Egan, Project Manager, on 0151 357 2120, or jess@actiontransporttheatre.org.

How do I become an ATT Writer?

The ATT Writers are a group of writers that ATT has an ongoing working relationship with. Many of them have developed work with ATT, or presented their work at ATT. We hope to inspire them to write their best plays, and to support them by integrating them into the work of a professional theatre company.

As a result, membership of ATT Writers is not open, but by invitation. If you think you would like to work with the company, and possibly become an ATT Writer in the future, then please take a look at the FAQ below or contact Kevin Dyer on writing@actiontransporttheatre.org.

Are your spaces available to hire?

Many of the spaces at Whitby Hall are available to hire. For more information click 'Whitby Hall' and then 'For Hire' to find out more. Alternatively, you can contact Karen Parry on 0151 357 2120 or info@actiontransporttheatre.org

How do I submit a script or proposal for a play/project?

While we are interested in the work of writers and directors we may not always be able to read all scripts that are sent to us. If you have an idea you would like to put to the company, we would advise you to contact us on e-mail in the first instance with a short proposal (and possibly a short extract) to info@actiontransporttheatre.org. We will do our best to read it and respond, but cannot guarantee this.

I would like to bring a play to Whitby Hall, what is the best way to get in touch with you about it?

Whitby Hall Studio Theatre is a fully-equipped theatre within Whitby Hall. ATT presents a number of productions in the studio theatre, from visiting companies, each year. Much of this work is aimed at young audiences and is new work.

If you, or your company, is interested in presenting work at Whitby Hall please contact us on e-mail at info@actiontransporttheatre.org with information about your show. We try to read all submitted information, but cannot guarantee this.

I'm interested in doing work experience at ATT or volunteering. Do you offer placements/oppportunities?

At ATT we do try to offer opportunities for work experience students and volunteers, especially for young people under 25. However, we are a small company and it is not always possible. If you are interested in work experience or voluntary work at ATT, e-mail jess@actiontransporttheatre.org with a brief outline of your interests and your availability. We will do our best to accommodate you, and offer you relevant and exciting opportunities where we can.
